Clint R

Clint Rusch

President

Clint joined NorthPoint in 2020, and leads NorthPoint Logistics, a full-service freight broker and freight forwarder. His breadth of experience, with previous roles in management consulting, finance, and healthcare in addition to his time in the logistics industry, provides Clint with a unique and distinctive perspective on both internal and client-facing operations.

With his wife Molly, Clint is the proud father of two children. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a decorated combat veteran.

Tim Flanigan

Managing Director,
Domestic Operations

With a true lifetime of experience in transportation, Tim grew up loading trailers and working in the maintenance shop with his father and uncles, and has held executive, operations, fuel management, business development, facilities management, and project leadership roles in both asset-based and non-asset-based transportation companies over the last twenty-plus years. He leads NorthPoint Transport, our full-service brokerage operation covering all modes across North America. Tim enjoys spending time outdoors with his daughter and is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, in Saint Paul, MN, where he still resides.

Kaitlyn R

Kaitlin Rusbarsky

International Operations

With over a decade of experience in the global freight forwarding industry, Kaitlin brings a tremendous depth of client-facing, team-oriented leadership to NorthPoint Forwarding. She provides strategic leadership, focus, and guidance across the business, as well as assisting with cross-functional improvement initiatives, the growth of existing client relationships, and the acquisition of new clients. She holds a degree in International Business from the College of the Ozarks, and when not remodeling her home in the Kansas City area, is an avid cyclist.

Chief Revenue Officer

As Chief Revenue Officer, JC leads all sales, client success, and pricing & capacity functions for NPL, focusing on maximizing value for our external partnerships. He has held sales, analytical, and audit roles prior to joining the NorthPoint team, and has extensive financial and software experience. When not chasing after his young children, JC enjoys cooking and playing golf. He resides in the Kansas City area and holds a Masters in Accounting from the University of Kansas.

Tim joined NorthPoint in February of 2020, and leads our export team. He brings a wide range of experience and skills, which include international logistics, domestic transportation, and internal sales. Tim graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Marketing. In his free time he enjoys traveling and playing golf.

Michelle Ward1

Import Operations

With over fourteen years of experience in global transportation and logistics, Michelle brings tremendous expertise to NorthPoint Forwarding’s import practice, including her certification as a Licensed Customs Broker. She holds a Masters in Education from the University of Florida, and before entering the supply chain sector, spent nine years teaching, including six years in Europe and Asia. Her experience with dangerous goods transportation led to IMDG and IATA DG certification, and she has held operational and leadership roles in import operations, export operations, and customs brokerage. Michelle enjoys reading, her two dogs, and exploring the outdoors with her husband. She resides in the Kansas City area.
